Key TouchPoint features

Interactive Studio layer (not Video Wall). Open any item for detail.

Interactive layer without re-uploading
Add hotspots and CTAs on top of public URLs you already published—YouTube, Vimeo, X, Twitch, Kick, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and MP4. Your original upload stays put: views, comments, and SEO remain on the host platform. You build the interactive project in the TouchPoint studio—no export or re-upload of the source video file.
Hotspot types & actions
Types: buttons (multiple preset styles), text/HTML, images, and masks—invisible clickable squares, rectangles, or circles over part of the frame (great when the product is already visible). Actions: open affiliate or merchant URLs, bridge pages, checkout, lead magnets, mailto: / tel:, jump to another timestamp in the same video, or post messages to the parent page for custom integrations.
Timed visibility
Each hotspot has in/out times on the timeline—show a deal or CTA only while you are talking about it, then hide it when you move on. That beats a static description link that never lines up with the moment of peak intent on screen.
Embeds & your own site
Paste the TouchPoint embed on your site, course page, or campaign landing page. On your domain, the interactive player works for every visitor—no extension required. That is the same full-layer experience, embedded next to your copy and forms. More on embed vs. extension: YouTube creators.
Chrome extension & #TouchPoint
On YouTube and Vimeo watch pages, viewers need the free TouchPoint Chrome extension to see your interactive layer on-platform. Put your #TouchPoint line at the top of the video description so the player can associate your project with the public URL. One install covers TouchPoint-powered videos across supported sites.
Personalization
On supported players, use tokens such as { viewer_avatar } in text or button hotspots so the viewer’s profile image can appear inside your content—useful for community moments, “you’re here” CTAs, and shareable frames.
Studio workflow
Import by URL, place hotspots in the design player, clone hotspots where you need repeats, attach CSS classes and linked stylesheets, pick brand colors from the video with the color player, then test in sandbox and public modes. Save moves projects from sandbox to production.
Live streaming (where configured)
Where your account setup includes RTMP ingest, you can stream through TouchPoint and layer interactive CTAs for live sessions and replays—sponsor segments, registrations, downloads, and follow-ups. Pairs with production tools (e.g. vMix, Wirecast) as additional outputs.
TV, mobile & desktop
Embedded player (your site): works on phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop browsers—hotspots are interactive without installing anything. On-platform YouTube/Vimeo: viewers need the Chrome extension on desktop; mobile YouTube/Vimeo in the app is not extension-based today—use your site embed for full interactivity on mobile. Living room: Chromecast and AirPlay are supported; interactive controls pause while casting to the TV. Smart TV browsers: many Samsung, LG, Google TV, and Fire TV browsers can run your embedded interactive player for campaigns on the big screen—test on target devices.
Analytics
See which hotspots were clicked, when, and hover engagement on your interactive layer—so you know which timestamp and which offer actually convert, not just aggregate watch time from the host platform.
